Nature Photos
My pictures represent nature because each of the shots show the beauty of nature and how something as simple as the ocean can be so beautiful when captured in the right way, my pictures represent that even though the lighting is dim and it's not the best weather there's still beauty throughout the world. I changed the Aperture and the shutter speed so I can control my depth of field. When I would want to focus on just one thing I would change my settings so I could get my subject to have all of the focus but when I wanted to get the whole depth of field I would set my settings accordingly.I would focus on either the subject or what's going on behind the subject, I would try and let more light in when the image was going to come out too dark, my techniques helped enhance the shot because they would provide focus on one part of the image and that's the part that I would want to be inspected. I also went in afterwards and changed some of the filters to make the image seem brighter or to add some extra emphasis on color. If I could re shoot my images I would try to fix the brightness on some of them because they're too dark, I would also like to fix my angles and I would try to keep focus on one subject rather than having everything focused in the image. I would also try to use more of a zoom to get more details on what I am shooting
Portraits Photos
The subject is my friend lily, I choose to shoot lily because of her red hair. I love the way her red hair and green eyes look in certain lighting and with certain filters. I used composition techniques to draw focus to either Lilys hair or to her green eyes, in one of the photos i aligned her head with a river in the back to draw more focus to her, the thick line draws attention to her. The photos reveal her sassy side, lily is really happy and peppy and the photos show her at a more serious time, my images leave you wondering what she is thinking and why she is looking the way she does, it makes her mysterious. I would improve my photos by editing them more, I would try to bring focus to her hair and try to darken some of the images. I would also try some of the photos in black and white

Motion Photos
i choose to shoot these motion picture because I felt that a bird in flight would show many colors and the wings would look really good, I thought the water dripping from the faucet was a good representation of motion and I liked the separation of the water droplets. The last photo is my brother at his game and I like how everything and everyone is moving in this photo but I like how your eyes are being drawn right to him. My favorite photo is the middle one with the water dropping, I like the negative space and the rhythm that is going on in the picture, I also like how it's kind of mysterious. For all of these photos I used a fast shudder speed to capture everything like it was not in motion.

Abstract Photos
the first photo is a picture of the wood on my deck, the second is a photo of the railing, then the wood, then the stone wall, then my patio stone. The last picture is a picture of wine corks in a wine glass. For each of the pictures I adjusted the lighting and the shutter speed to get the image to be either darker or lighter. Like I'm e first image I used a lighter light setting, but in the last one I used a darker one. I also tried to use lots of lines, like in te first two images you can see the amount of lines and the rhythm that the lines create in the second image. In the last image I tried to use shadows to block out the other corks expect for the top one to bring more focus to the top cork. I used pics art to edit the images and turn them black and white and to make the shadows darker and to give them more. All of my images suggest darker, sadder tones rather than happy uplifting tones and feelings. They all have a good representation of mystery and wonder. If I could change and improve my images I would try to add other images on top or behind them to make something more abstract and harder to understand.
